Notes:
JEMS master recording. This is a very good sounding recording. This show captures the Climax Blues Band touring in support of their FM/Live album. Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks were the opening act with the Climax Blues Band as the middle act. Canned Heat was the main act this night. Every once in awhile JEMS finds a forgotten treasure sitting alone and forgotten in the archives. This and the Canned Heat set are two such examples. This is an absolutely phenomenal show and scorching live performance in general. The performance is so good even though they finish their set they are allowed to come back out and play another song(Goin' To New York) before Canned Heat takes the stage. This particular lineup of the band is one of the tightest group of musicians I've ever heard especially Colin Cooper. The guy is amazing. This is an absolutely must have highly recommended show.
