Left handed "Master of the Stratocaster", Coco Montoya has been under the tutelage of John Mayal and Albert Collins and boy did it show in this fantastic show. An amazingly talented and well seasoned Blues musician with a solid and tight band. The crowd's energy was huge and Coco and the band fed off it. It can be felt in this recording and is a perfect example of symbiosis in practice. This is pure Blues and guaranteed to rock you.
Things to listen for: I love the delicious irony of the feedback that comes just as Coco is giving thanks to the behind the scenes crew including the soundman. To the soundman's credit, sound at this stage was excellent all throughout the festival.
