Commander Cody and His Lost Planet Airmen
July 26, 1975
The Keystone, Berkeley

*Recorded by Bob Menke and and Louis Falanga
Lineage Unknown to Cassette, I was told by David Gans the cassettes I
recieved as seeds for this were recorded with microphones right in the
monitors but it sounds more like SBD's to me. I believe the master was
recorded on a reel to reel as there are no tape flips.

My guess at the lineage is: SBD>MR?>MCass>WAV (Via Denon DRM 700>ART DI/O
A/D>Delta Dio 24/96)>SHN or CD From the Cassette on is known, as I did
the A>D, MCass>.wav and beyond.

*In spite of this being from Bob and Lewis by way of David Gans
there is still dispute about the exact taping setup of this show.
Lots of discussion about Bob and Lewis' cassette recorder model and
Sony Mic model BUT some people also think this was recorded to reel
(not Bob and Lewis' normal sony setup) No concensus was ever reached
even though many expert opinions were proposed in an STG and an
Easytree discussion thread. Unfortunately those discussions are not available anymore. These are the exact files that were originally torrented by me several months ago Thanks to Gans and Keith Bode---
All that really matters is that it sounds great
