Unfortunately this tape is the kind of "shit happens", and the second time it struck the fabulous COSMIC DEAD with a recording done by my friends. First of all, this is WAY TOO SHORT,
and I don't think the instruments are really warmed up at the end. Overall sound from the stage was very muddy, with some drumbombs which resulted in a few "crackers" here and there.
This is it, warts and all, but some exceptional nice pics by the dear LORD are included as well...I guess there's a better recording somewhere shelved...?

In this case I'm lucky that I didn't make the long way to STONED FROM THE UNDERGROUND, as it might have THE BAND I would've done it for. But a mere tiny 35 minutes for the price of
enduring and surviving several hours of SludgeDoom is not worth my hearing abilities and my tumbling inner nerve system. To my surprise, the band also switched places with MOTHER
ENGINE from saturday early evening to the opening slot of friday's main stage, and had to pick up their gear very fast for another show in KOBLENZ later that evening, for a cross country
ride of 300+ kilometers. There's a short talk about an encounter with german police at start, so there might'd been a raid on their bus before...who knows...
Anyway, here's a bit more than half an hour from one of the best bands I listened to in the last year. Glasgow's finest quartet will send you to the place where you can hear what it
sounds like when "the rings of Saturn sing". Indeed, a fitting desciption for this maelstrom of CosmicSpaceKraut. Hope you will like this, even it's not sounding too well, but there are
not too many tapes from them out there...SB.
