Show Notes: The first of 2 Counting Crows shows in Melbourne (I only recorded this one, I was at a different show on the night of the second show... it was a big week for me), with a sold out show at the beautiful Palais theatre. A great setlist, perhaps the only disappointment being Round Here was omitted when it was listed as first song of the encore, probably due to time constraints as they were pushing the 11pm curfew (you know guys, you could start 15 minutes earlier to prevent this issue...). Nonetheless a fantastic show from a band still firing on all cylinders 30 years on from the release of their brilliant debut album.

Recording Notes: This is an excellent recording. The Palais has great acoustics and I was in a good spot in the orchestra section. The people in front of me were a little chatty at times, but they're not that audible on the recording. If you're a Counting Crows fan you'll like listening to this one. Enjoy!
