This comes from another uncirculated DAT from the collection of Stonecutter. A new source for this Irving Plaza performance.

Cowboy Junkies are a Canadian alternative country/blues/folk rock band.

The group was formed in Toronto in 1985 by Margo Timmins (vocalist), Michael Timmins (songwriter, guitarist), Peter Timmins (drummer) and Alan Anton (bassist)

You can find another recording of this concert here: https://archive.org/details/cj2000-03-02.shnf

On that site listing, the song titles for tracks 3 and 4 are mistakenly flipped. It's the same show.

There was no opening act. Karin Bergquis and Linford Detweiler from "Over the Rhine" perform with Cowboy Junkies.
