Early demos and rehearsals for Powell's solo album "Octopuss". Around this time Cozy and Mel had just joined Whitesnake and Hodgkinson would become a member during these recording sessions. At the same time Coverdale is recording the vocals for the Saints & Sinners album in the same studios and co-writes The Rattler with Powell.
