Okay, this is number 3 of 3 shows. There was quite a discussion regarding the first two shows about the channels being out of phase (After discussions with the Mods,I am going to upload corrected versions of those shows….sorry if it is an inconvenience). Depending on your equipment and/or preferences you can improve the sound. A couple of sound techs pointed out how they can be improved, and was very much appreciated. We learned a lot about how to fix it after the download using a variety of programs prior to converting them to wave files.

With that said, this show is a little different. The first set is an aud recording so the phasing question is moot. Prior to the second set, the taper patched into the soundboard. After learning about all this phasing stuff, I checked it in Audacity and saw that the channels were out of phase, so I corrected it prior to upload (for the purists, it was the left channel).

I’ll let you all rate the sound on this one. All I did to it was transfer it into WavePad adjusting the levels along the way to keep the sound consistent and then used Audacity to correct the phasing. I did separate the tracks using CD Wave Editor and didn’t convert it to two discs or fade in and fade out. My guess is you will want to prior to burning but I’ll leave that up to you…some like it some don’t.

So hopefully everyone is at least a little satisfied with the sound quality. As I said last time, no worries here and I appreciate the comments. I learned some techie stuff. For me its still all about the music and the sharing and I know everyone appreciates the upload… :)
