Art Garfunkel – Guest Vocals

This is a really good audience recording of Crosby and Nash. The taper did an excellent job despite the fact that it was a revolving stage! I don’t know how he did it. If you enjoy these guys you will really enjoy this show. I think they were really having a good time. The show was already underway when the taper began so it starts midway through “Bittersweet” which I am told was usually the second song into the show.

It is an interesting show in the fact that, they play some songs that they would not normally be able to play as CSN and/or CSNY. The other thing that makes it interesting is that Art Garfunkel joins them on stage for a few songs at the end. He obviously hadn’t been on stage in quite awhile and makes reference to it. Listening to a version of “America” with he and Graham is worth the download.

It is an exact clone from the Audience Master DAT. It was recorded very well. I would rate it an A- as far as audience recordings go. I’m sorry but I don’t know what equipment was used since I received this in trade along time ago. All I did to it was transfer it into WavePad adjusting the levels along the way to keep the sound consistent, primarily between songs. The audience applause, etc. was all over the place, as is the case on audience tapes. Of course I separated tracks and faded in and out between discs. I think you will all enjoy. I’ll add some .mp3 samples for you.
