I had the mics taped to my specs and as I moved my head from time to time, the soundfield changes a little.

Comments:

My first time at RAH, it's a magnificent seeting for a show BUT. It's notorious for it's echo caused by the room which hass a huge dome. When it was first opened it used to be jokingly said that the Hall was "the only place where a British composer could be sure of hearing his work twice".

They now have some dampeners in place and I'm told that it's much better than it used to be but this recording suffers from it, mostly in respect of the drums.

It's nearly 40 years since I last saw them and I enjoyed this just as much as I did then.
