TAPER NOTES:
Cyndi Lauper's first ever appearance at New Orleans JazzFest, headliner for May 5 on the Gentilly Stage.
Outdoor general admission show.
Recorded approx 15-20 feet from stack, directly behind wheelchair section (see photos).
I was as close to the speakers as possible without having the ultra-expensive VIP ticket.
Although it was sunny and hot, wind was still a factor, and can be heard periodically on the recording.
Cyndi performed approximately 5:30pm - 7pm, closing the Gentilly Stage for the day.

Since it is a festival with many stages, between songs other music can be heard in the background from other stages. I am not certain, but I believe Wilco can be heard, as they were the other headliner this day, performing at the same time as Cyndi.

No post-processing has been done to the recording. It is presented "as is". I admit it could use a little more bass, however decided to share it exactly as recorded.

Very large crowd. Definitely in the thousands.

The next day at JazzFest, Cyndi joined Arcade Fire on stage for two songs. I was not there for that, but wish I had been.
