Another great evening with http://www.brighthelmstonepromotions.co.uk/ presenting "Danny & The Champions Of The World" - one of the most entertaining and most talented emerging bands I've seen this year!

If this isn't enough, Brighthelmstone represented Dreaming Spires kick off the evening and will air a new tune or two. Jim Brighthelmstone has been tucking into his Big Star collection recently after watching the exceptional 'Nothing Can Hurt Me' documentary. Q magazine called The Dreaming Spires debut, Brothers in Brooklyn "....the most thrilling country rock debut since Big Star."

Every so often you go to a gig and it's everything you want. Well, you've had the Palmfest 2013 show (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=475054) and here you have the Nov 30 show. Nearly twice as long with additional songs and a glorious 13min version of The Colonel And the King. What a great evening!!!!

As said before, this band reminds me of everyone!! It's fast and furious, and gentle and swaying. From Springsteen to Stax (maybe southside Johnny in overdrive!) - it's all here, great mood, great banter and great great music!!
