quality note: This was outside and it was windy, especially at the beginning of the recording. The wind noise was just too chaotic to notch out in EQ. I did my best, but you'll hear the gusts. It's also possible I was drinking and "woo hooed" a few times. On the other hand, I think the performances were great and well worth a listen. A few new tracks from Dave Kerzner's upcoming album "Static" too.
I recorded this a several days ago on the Cruise to the Edge 2017. If you were there then you might remember the guy with the black flat cap and the fuzzy "kitty ears" that were really microphones with wind mice. Great fun. If you weren't there then I hope to see you next year.
I will be releasing my recordings as I get them processed. I'll be releasing my 96khz 24 bit recordings absolutely raw with no mastering at all and my 44.1khz 16bit versions with gentle mastering. This aren't my final masters because that just takes too long to do. These were really good perfomances and I don't want to make you wait to hear them. If you want to master your own then be sure to grab the 24 bit versions.
I will be releasing this as a 24bit raw recording a bit later so that you can remaster this for yourself. This is the 16bit mastered version.
