The taping Gods were smiling upon us on this beautiful Texas night. Dave Mason Band rocked the Granada Theater's ass off! It had been 20+ years since I've seen Dave and I was really looking forward to this show. Dave sounded as good as ever, no audible loss of range or strength. Sweet show and the band is really tight! The mix was fabulous and vocals clear and bright.

I had a couple "spiritual" moments during this performance and it was tough to sit still. Thanks to Jimmy A.(Jimbro), Tom B., and Procter(clrlight) for putting up a buffer against the clappers/yackers. No fan distractions whatsoever!! This is one of my top 5 recordings to date and I'm really pleased with the results. Absolutely no editing done except normalizing to 85%. No fades applied either. It's raw, it's pure and it's EXCELLENT!!
