Recorded from the floor level, on the right aisle, about half-way back from the stage. The right [and left] side seats are slightly elevated above the center seats which provides unobstructed space between the mics and the stage. The recording was a little muddy sounding, so some EQ tweaks were necessary to bring out the guitar and vocals.

Lineage: Edirol R-09HR [24-48] low cut @ 100hz [on] Core Sound Binauals [clipped to glasses] battery box filter [on] > SanDisk SDHC [10] > hard drive Sound Forge [all processing 24-48k]: removed low rumble below 20hz, manually lowered volume spikes of several drum hits which were 5-6 db higher than average peak, EQ > remove mud around 80-120 hz [- 2db; slight increase in upper mids [+1-2]; normalize peak to 0.0 db. Export to CD Architect-track splits-burned CD-ripped as wave files in WMP-FLAC [level 8] [ASB] in Traders Little Helper.

Great crowd on hand - mostly contemporaries of Dave who were around in the early Traffic days. The first set featured all traffic songs, re-arranged for this band. No bass player, the bass was handled by the keyboard player who also played digital Hammond organ and other sounds. All of the musicians were competent and the quality of Daves guitar tone and vocals were both really good. I have not seen him since Feb 26, 1975 , so it was good to hear these songs again. Im not sure I like the new arrangements, but I understand the desire of a gigging musician to not play every song the same way forever. I was surprised Only You Know and I Know was not in the set. Otherwise, very enjoyable.

Enjoy! -----Solar Wind-Atlanta-----
