Cut it any way you want. The first 9 tracks fit nicely on a single disc.
I found that if you cut out the Encore applause, the rest will fit on a
second disc. But it's up to you.
I got lucky. Ever since this show was announced, I was trying to figure
out a way to tape it and work it at the same time. So two days before
the show, my boss calls and asks me to be a cashier down on the floor
for the two portable beer stations on the third base side. The dugout
was secure with only limited access and I was allowed to keep a bank and
count $$ there. Way cool, right under the 3rd base speaker stack with
(most of the time) no one within fifteen feet of the recorder.
I'm really surprised it turned out so well. The little Zoom
handled it well. I'm sure that there will be better recordings
that will surface, but for those of you who want a little taste
of the first concert ever at the new Busch Stadium, here it is.
There are 2 major (not really that big) issues that I know of.
I had not counted on the band playing almost 3 hrs straight and I knew
the H2 would only record a maximum 2GB file at a time, so right after
Pay for What you Get, I did a quick stop and re-start. I may have missed
about 10 seconds of Dave saying something like "a bunch of old school
there" If you didn't know it, you wouldn't know it. Also, "someone"
yelled out a shoutout at the end of Cornbread. There is the usual
small talk here and there. A beach ball fell in the dugout at one point
and the audience asked for it back. A couple of times you hear an event
radio back and forth but to me it sounds ok.

No artwork included. If you want to make it up, by all means please do so.
I've included a not so good pic of the bus stop posters around town.
Not for sale in any way shape or form.
Black Crowes were taped from the same location. If interested, advise.

Leave a comment and let me know if you like it already.
Peace
Hops
