Lineage Info: Canon G10 (Sound Recorder mode: Audio 44.1 WAV file mono). SD card>Sound Studio> Resample to CD stereo preset> xACT>Flac8>you will be CD(01) if burned. Note there is a notch at around 12K in the FA and SA which you can see in the included fileset. It is a function of the recorder.

Add'l Note: There is a buzzing sound present when the music levels get low enough to hear it. It is primarily at the beginning of the second set. It was a camera issue with a faulty sensor. I have since replaced the camera. Sorry, but it is what it is. -sD

Stripeydave says:

On November 30, 2010 I lost my "brother from another mother" to pancreatic cancer. He would have been 49 on Dec. 12, which coincides with the day that I arrived in California and have since considered to be my "other birthday".

This show is dedicated to the memory of my friend and brother Michael Grant Pearson. December 12, 1961 - November 30, 2010 RIP.

This one is for my wife and kids, who don't understand my need to see every show they do, but still let me get there...
And also to my new friends, Ken & Marta, Kaitlyn, and Steve who all made a wonderful evening even more enjoyable.

Extra Special thanks to Ketch, Willie, Morgan, and Sean, and of course Dave and Gillian! Words cannot express my love for you and the good vibrations you create.

Apologies to all as you will likely hear a rather happily inebriated me from time to time in between songs. Sometimes, I just want to have fun too.

Every time I see these performers I feel as if they put brand-new strings on my soul. Of the fifteen or so shows that I have been blessed to attend so far, this one ranks right up there in the top 15! heh heh heh...

My first foray down to the Belly Up Tavern after having felt the sting of missing them play there last year during the "Legendary Largo Run"... I won't kick myself too hard, but I would happily make the 2.5 hour drive each way for these wonderful musicians. This is a great venue, with super-friendly staff and nice acoustics.

Got there early and got to hear a snippet of Dave and Ketch soundchecking Desolation Row... !!!
From the first set to the last encore it was a wonderful free-for-all hoedown of great music and amazing playing. Dave is rarely "off" but boy was he "ON" last night, and with the backing band lending such depth, from Ketch's booming baritone and sweet fiddle to Morgan's bouncy bass to Gillian's sweet high vocals and Willie's filling in the rest of the gaps, it was a night to remember. A real treat for me was the Candyman they slipped in there, and the new song Spodeeodee.

So keep your windows open please and try to upload as much as you download. I understand it may be tough on dialup, so if you can't, no worries... just try to share it with as many people as you can by other methods, preferably through random acts of kindness.

One last thing, if you like this show then please go out and buy their albums. You won't be disappointed. Support live Independent Music! The life you save will be your own!
