This is a copy direct from the master tape that I traded soon after the show in Birmingham. The recording itself is a bit rough but captures the atmosphere well ( there are a couple of screamers nearby).

I went to this show, the second of 2 nights at the NEC. Compared to the last time we saw him in 1978, this was more of a stage show than an edgy gig but it was Bowie and as the announcer shouts at the start of the show, we'd been waiting 5 years.
