Back in October Candleman and I got to sit down with David after this show and chatted about various tunes and fiddles and people come and gone. As for the show, they did one of the top shows I've ever gotten to see, with David spending alot of time on electric guitar and pulling out some old favorites and a couple new tunes. "Blue is Falling" is fast becoming a new favorite. David did "Drown in My Own Tears" and "Roll On John" downstage of the mics. I was amazed at what I was able to bring up from the recording of these two tracks. They're not perfect, but are listenable. I recorded on an Olympus LS-10 recording PCM at 24bit/48000hz. I then mastered the recordings to 16/44100 flac files using SoundForge 9.0.
