"That's what you're gonna get. Weird songs in weird tunings," said David Crosby after the opening song, "Tracks in the Dust." This was a sublime performance by David and his son, James Raymond. My attendance and the resulting recording were only made possible by ethiessen1's last minute decision to skip the show and offer me his tickets.
As with most acoustic shows, the audience applause was much louder than the music. I tried to mitigate this situation as much as possible without it being noticeable. There is some occasional, minor phasing that you won't notice if you're not using headphones. Near the beginning of "Thousand Roads" you'll hear a noise that sounds as if I dropped the microphone, but it was actually a dropped cell phone at the table next to me. Speaking of cell phones (not mine), I had to eliminate the walk-on applause and David's opening remark due to some nasty interference. I'll repeat it here for your enjoyment since it probably applies to you as well - "Y'all are freaking crazy!"
