Okay, this is number 2 of 3 shows. I already posted the first one (#164187  Crosby & Nash Melbourne Florida 1-17-92 EXCELLENT SBD DAT) which all but a few sound techie critics (who sit around all day with headphones and try to hear the sound of a dog whistle from 200 yards) liked and agreed that it is an EXCELLENT soundboard DAT recording of Crosby and Nash. With that said, even they will agree this is superb.

Now, if you liked that one, you (and even the sound techies) will love this one. It sounds much clearer than the last (I think it has more to do with the venue…but that is me) and is probably the best of the 3 (January 17, 18, and 19). Like before, it is from a clone of the Master. I did listen to some of the comments and didn’t spend a lot of time making it cd burn ready. While it still is (which is how I like them), I only separated the two discs because the taper turns it off at the break (he did leave it running during the encore breaks) so it was a natural split. It was recorded very well. Like the other one Crosby and Nash are really enjoying themselves. They do switch out a couple of songs from the 17th.

I would rate it an A+ sound wise. All I did to it was transfer it into WavePad adjusting the levels along the way to keep the sound consistent. The second disc begins with Critical Mass starting abruptly so I did fade in. I did separate the tracks using CD Wave Editor (I didn’t separate the dialogue), but you can still make a seamless copy.

So hopefully everyone (lol) is happy this time. I think you will all enjoy. If not then……! I’ll add some .mp3 samples for you.
