DAVID GILMOUR

ON THE RIBBON AND WIRES

Media: 2 CD-R
Source: AUD
X-ref: Houston 13.6.84.

Venue: June 13th, 1984 The Summit, Houston, Texas, USA.

Notes:

A part of North-American leg of David Gilmour's 1984 'About Face' world tour.
Valuable upgrade to previous version, known as 3rd gen sourced Houston 13.6.84, which is
equalized, has wrong speed and is incomplete.
Of course this 1st gen has the same mic problems at the beginning of Until We Sleep and two
cuts (tape flips), marked below. But here is present all final part of Blue Light (recorded
after tape flip) and complete band introduction. Also, a bit more audience is available as well.
Raw unprocessed copy of the tapers masters, so this is the most complete recording from Houston
Summit.
Sound quality is almost excellent, mainly because of a bit too loud audience. Clear and strong
vocal, nice timbre.
Discs' division compatible with the course of the show. Very carefully indexed.

Wojtek. Audience recording. From 1st generation analog tape.
