An intimate performance at Be Here Now, which was a small venue at 5 Biltmore Street, in Asheville, that held maybe 250 people and was the site of Warren Haynes' first X-mass Jam. The owner published his own "newspaper," Be Here News, because he didn't want to advertise locally, so there is very little historical material online about the club. It was shut down by the Asheville Fire Department after an (allegedly) overbooked Emylou Harris concert, and the opened under new management for a while before turning into yet another downtown Asheville bar.
The recording features material from Doganova, which was released in August 1995. There is a lot of banter after each song, which is not tracked separately. There was a discontinuity at about 44 minutes into the show, with no music missing although perhaps some banter was lost. Despite the suspicious timing, there's no tape hiss and this sounds like a digital recording.
Enjoy!
