Excellent Studio Recording!
31 years ago today, one of the greatest hard rock albums in history was released...
That would be, David Lee Roth's solo debut, "Eat 'Em and And Smile" which featured the greatest up-and-coming hard rock talent on the planet!
"Eat 'Em And Smile" would go on on to have an extremely positive impact on my life over the years. In fact, it was the first hard rock album I had ever owned.
I still remember when my mom bought the cassette for my younger brother and I at C&C Music on North 10th Street in McAllen, Texas in January of 1987.
Back then, my brother was six, and I had just turned nine! To this day, the videos for "Yankee Rose" and "Goin' Crazy" stop me dead in my tracks.
They still crack me up!
I received the "Eat 'Em And Smile" demo CD around the year 2000. I originally shared the tracks on the disc sometime around 2002, via Usenet.
I remember this caused some grief in Van Halen trading circles. Someone claimed that these rare tracks were never meant to be distributed to the public.
Blah, Blah, Blah...
Prior to this snafu, no one had ever told me not to share the "Eat 'Em And Smile" demos.
It should be noted that, Diamond Dave's career was on life support at the dawn of the millennium, so I figured he could use the publicity.
Unfortunately, commercial bootleg outfit Aces High out of Japan, quickly pressed a silver disc version of this release in hopes of making a quick buck.
These tracks were freshly extracted from the original CD-R that I received back in 2000.
I stumbled across this disc while paring down my CDR/DVDR collection on July 7, 2017.
In honor of the 31st anniversary of one of my all-time favorite albums, I decided to share this classic bootleg with fans one more time.
As someone who was too young to see the original 1986 show, I would LOVE to see an "Eat 'Em And Smile" reunion!
This would be more appealing than another Van Halen mach IV album/tour...
Note: The original CDR includes the Rantarock Festival performance in Finland from June 26, 1999 as filler.
I removed these tracks from this release as they had nothing to do with the Eat 'Em And Smile Era...

HELP: Does anyone else out there own the TP Link Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router?
I am using it with a Windows 10 machine and am unable to properly open ports for torrenting. I use qBitorrent 3.3.13 as my client.
I have plenty of experience properly opening ports on routers in the past. However, I can't figure out how to properly open ports on the Archer C5400 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Wireless AC5400 Gigabit Router.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!
IMPORTANT NOTE: I'm new to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and am eager to meet new friends who would be interested in attending (and taping) rock shows together.
If you'd like to join the taping community, please let me know...
Going to concerts with friends is MUCH MORE FUN!
I'm a full-time student at the moment.
I'm looking for an enjoyable part time job in Arlington to make a few extra bucks on the side.
Let me tape your band in DFW! Reasonable rates and quick turn around!
I'll tape ANYTHING for a price...
URGENT: I am interested in taping the Guns N' Roses performances at the Alamodome in San Antonio on September 8, 2017, as well as at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on November 17, 2017.
However, I am NOT interested in spending $300 to see Guns N' Roses AGAIN!
If you have an extra ticket to spare, please keep me in mind. Thank you!!
