This show took place in the intimate McCoy Studio Theater at the MACC.

It felt like the perfect venue for David's string instrument mastery,
amusing stories and off the wall sense of humor.

His stories and intros were quite extensive at times. As a result, the
tracking for each song begins with the shortest, most relevant part of
his story that serves as an intro.

It was also interesting to hear his, shall we say, "upchuck" version
of Tiki Torches at Twilight. Until this point I had only heard a
version by the David Nelson Band sung by Lindley's longtime drummer friend,
Wally Ingram.

David pays a little tribute to Wally during this show when he tells the
audience about the "Wally Ingram/David Lindley postulate".

At the end of the show, David thanked the audience and started walking
offstage. However, he came back for his pre-encore commentary and final
song without ever leaving the stage.

Aloha!
