Lineage: Excellent sound quality digital matrix mix from 4 channel cassette master. 1 soundboard channel, 1 ambient microphone on balcony railing channel and 2 channels of a live microphone mix of Crown PZM microphones mounted over the stage and 2 Nakamichi cm300 microphones also mounted over the stage > Dolby C encoded Maxell UDXLII-S cassettes > Yamaha PM44D recorder (4 channels of 45 minutes per C-90 cassette when sensor is on back of cassette).
Transfer: Yamaha PM44D (Dolby C decoded) > Macintosh with Echo Layla sound card > AIFF > Pro Tools (time alignment, normalization, digital mix, minor "nip & tuck" edits and tracking - no DNR or EQ) > AIFF > xACT (Flac level 8 files, tagged with sector boundaries verified).
