Installment number 2 of thew 3 David Olney shows gentlen sent me.
Stone Valley is (was) a small club in the eastern part of the country, close to the German border.
I have a few recordings made in this club and they all sound nice. This one is no exception.
It's a very good audience recording, probably made close to the source.

One of my favourite singer-songwriters. I seem to have a love for singer-songwriters who deserve to be famous, but never did.
David Olney is a songwriter's songwriter. His songs have been covered by people like Emmylou Harris and Steve Earle. He's a
contemporary of Townes Van Zandt, who was a good friend.
David Olney used to come to my coutry quite often, but the last few years he has not been here. Fortunately that will change in
December, when he'll have 3 shows here. 2 of them will take place in De Oude Veiling in Aalsmeer, a venue near me. Needles to say
I have tickets. Both shows will be videotaped for a future " Live in Holland" dvd.
During this short tour he'll do a few shows in Austria as well (I believe his wife is from Austria).
