Lineage - WWSW-FM broadcast > VHS (Mitsubishi stereo VCR) > master cassette (Maxell XLII C-90, Tascam stereo deck) > Soundforge > TLH

I had thought that my cassette copy was the master recording, but during editing I discovered that there was enough overlap between the end of Side A and beginning of Side B that I could make an undetectable splice during the band introduction. Therefore, I have to conclude that I originally recorded this off the air onto VHS tape in order to not have any breaks. So, I guess I have to call this a 1st generation recording instead of master.

I chose to split it for CD burning before the "encores" although there really isn't much of a break. At least this way there's a lot of space left on the second CD should you choose to add your own filler. It's possible to fit it all onto one CD if you remove tracks 1-01, 1-02, 2-03, 2-04, and one or two other section of banter.

Although it doesn't sound like it on this recording, I believe the audience was estimated at around 100,000, leading to the DJ outro comments about it being the largest crowd in the history of the Three Rivers Regatta.
