This concert was the culmination of a day long seminar given by Debashish on Northern Indian Classical Music, which covered
* Basic techniques and approach to Indian Music.
* Basic compositions on one Raga,
* How to fuse Indian Raga music with contemporary aesthetics.
* The chaturangui, the 22 string Indian Slide Guitar, and it's global positioning in world music.

Debashish is extremely fortunate to have a close association and bond with his Gurus Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, the world-renowned vocalist and Pandit Brij Bhushan Kabra, the living legend and pioneer of Indian Classical Guitar. Their training coupled by his own hard work has shaped Debashish as the best Classical Guitarist today.

He has the honour of working with the renowned maestros of the world : Ustad Zakir Hussain from India, John McLaughlin from Monacco, Bob Brozman from USA, Rene Lacaille from France, Takashi Hiriyasu from Okinawa, Lieu Fang from China, Julian Kytasty from Ukraine and many others from all over the Globe.
