The Decoys and Donnie Fritts were playing the Summer in Spring Park event during the W.C. Handy Music Festival in the Shoals. It was hot, but it's July in Alabama. We got a good dead center spot and enjoyed the opening act, Acoustrio, three guys from Holland that play American traditional roots music.
Hugo from Acoustrio joined the band for a song, as did Christine Ohlman, "The Beehive Queen," from the Saturday Night Live Band.
