stratcat58 notes;
Received this as part of a tape trade with Swedish trading partner PEJ back in 1986.
I don’t believe this is the complete show but I am not aware of a longer version.
This show is often misdated as 1972-02-16 but February 10th, 1972 is the correct date.
An early “Machine Head” era show that was part of a short German tour after spending most of January in the US as headliners there for the first time.
The beginning of a long, grueling run of shows and tours that would eventually lead to an exhausted and fed-up Ian Gillan handing in his resignation by the end of the year.

PLEASE ENJOY THE MUSIC, WHILE YOU STILL CAN, BEFORE YOU'RE DEAD! AND WE'RE ALL DYING IN HERE, BUT YOU'RE NOT DEAD YET, BUT YOU WILL BE SOON AND AND WHAT GOOD WILL YOUR RECORDINGS BE THEN WHEN YOU'RE DEAD AND GONE AND YOU'RE NO LONGER HERE TO ENJOY THEM ANYMORE WITH ANYONE ELSE, SO LET'S NOT DIE WITHOUT SHARING OUR RECORDINGS...
