Deep Purple with the Ravinia Orchestra June 18th 2011 Highland Park Illinois USA

I thought this was a decent show. I could have done without the orchestra. Maybe Deep Purple would have been a bit more dynamic. They played at a low volume. The clapping and whistling was here and there. Just not the same without Blackmore. The other guys did well though.

Ernie and The Automatics was the backup band and they were great! Here is there lineup. I did record them. I will post it as well. They did some Boston classics!

Automatics All-Star Band Lineup:

Ernie Boch, Jr. - Lead/Rhythm guitars
Barry Goudreau - Lead Guitar (original member of Boston)
John "Sib" Hashian - Drums, Percussion (original member of Boston)
Tim Archibald - Bass guitar (former member of J. Geils Band)
Brian Maes - Lead Vocals, Keyboard
Michael Antunes - Saxophone (co-star in "Eddie and the Cruisers"; original member of John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band)

Enjoy! Samples enclosed.
