Geetarz Comments:

Here's a rare one for you, a nice (for the time period) audience recording of the first show of the UK tour. My review of the performance? Well, all I need to say is "look at the band list". That pretty much says it all in my opinion.

RIP Delaney Bramlett, passed today age 69. He made the world a better place, and may his music live on.

Artwork and mastering courtesy of Andy at PHR - thanks Andy!

Goody's comments -

I discovered that the speed of this set was extremely slow, which caused the pitch to be approximately 1 semitone flat. (That's a whole key, for you non-musical types! YIKES!!!)

That's all corrected now, with this newly upgraded edition.

Thanks to Geetarz for posting it at Dime, where I was lucky enough to have come across it and discover this huge flaw, which has apparently existed in it as long as it's circulated. You'll definitely hear a huge difference now. The tempos don't drag, which really effected the way these tunes groove, and the vocals don't sound unnaturally slow and deep now, either.

Please circulate this one far and wide in Delaney Bramlett's honor. His influence on this music lives on through everyone who's ever come into contact with him, and through the loving fans he's touched throughout a great lifetime. We are enriched.
