Hoarse and ornery, Delbert brought the Texas blues to Times Square on a pretty summer evening, playing for the usual BB King's mix of fans, tourists and distracted diners. It was a hot show anyhow, with Delbert and fine form, and the band (apparently called Dick50) really smoked. Delbert left the stage in the middle to let them play three songs of their own, and the Quentin Ware number is probably the highlight of the show.
