Tape story:
The venue is the main open-air stadium in Bologna
I arrived quite early so I could locate myself just outside the VIP area (close to the stage) at about 30 m from the stage center and 20 m in front of the left speakers
I had only two rows of standing people in front of me and about 10 m free space ahead (most of people in the VIP area under the stage)
The recording is very good with a clear and balanced sound with occasional isolated clapping and some rare background chatting
The crowd was very "hot" so I have left a final track: cheers for a (missing) second encore

What about the show?
It was my eighth Depeche Mode show (the others were in Milan 1984 twice, 1993, 2009 and 2016, Imola 2006 and Bologna 2014) and one of the best
Judas and Strangelove were acoustic performances with Martin Gore on vocals and Peter Gordeno on piano
Martin Gore sung also on Home and played electric guitar on Home and all other tracks except In Your Room, World In My Eyes, Everything Counts and Stripped
Peter Gordeno played bass guitar on A Pain That I'm Used To and "Heroes".
Judas was played for the first time during this tour

Technical notes:
- The total running time of the recording was 2:32:02; I have cut the first 14:42 mins of PA warm-up music and the last useless 1:02 mins
- About 18 secs at the beginning of In Your Room (0:05-0:21 and 0:28-0:30) have been reduced to mono (serious hiss on the left channel due to a battery box problem)
- I have amplified (+1.5 dB) the left channel, slightly compressed (-12 dB/1.5:1) the whole recording and faded-out the last 15 secs
- If you burn to audio CD, you will need 2 CDs (CD1: 01-13; CD2: 14-25)
