Very nice recent set of Dervish on recent N. American tour. Still mainly promoting 2013's cd The Thrush in the Storm. Those not familiar with Dervish should know that they're a brilliant band from Sligo now in their 25th year together. Their live shows alternate sets of jigs and reels with vocal tunes sung by the wonderful Cathy Jordan. There's always a lot of between song banter (usually by Cathy) and there's lots of audience participation through clapping, hooting, and singing along (when invited to do so). All of this is to say, don't download this if audience noise will freak you out. That said, this is a very listenable recording.
Please support Dervish and their solo endeavors by purchasing their officially released recordings, and by seeing them live.
