This is the only known Desert Sessions live recording.

This set is incomplete. I recorded most of the set (The first 7 songs), due to problems with the MD. First few seconds of "Don't Drink Poison" are gone, and it also missed the end of "In My Head.. or Something", and the beginning of "I Wanna Make It Wit Chu". They played a couple more songs, but I can't even remember what they were.

I held the mic in my hand over my head the whole time. No mic stand.

Recorded with a Sony Stereo Mic - ECM-MS907 to an old MD> Stereo 1/4" into MOTU Firewire to Cubase, then ran through Compressor.

Joining Homme onstage were guitarists Dave Catching, Twiggy Ramirez, and Troy Van Leeuwen, drummer Joey Castillo, bassist J. Ho, and vocalists Alain Johannes and Natasha Shneider. The guys rehearsed for five days in Joshua Tree, CA before the show.
