Notes:
This is the first of two sets the DLO3 played at Space this night. Also about 40 minutes
shorter! At the same time there were only a few repeat tunes. There were more people at the
early set to begin with, and the crowd is much more lively here as compared to the crowd at
the late set. Because of my position there's more room sound compared to the later set. Also,
Sam's drums aren't as punchy and Josh's guitar seems to get lost in the mix sometimes,
especially when he's not leading the tune. Still a decent recording, I just like the way the
late set turned out better. :^)

Josh Perdue and Same Groveman are the latest newcomers to the DLO3. According to Delvon, Josh
joined in October 2022 after he met him playing at a colleague's gig. He found Sam's drumming
videos on TikTok and reached out to him from there. This was probably sometime around June,
as their most recent drummer, Ehsaaan Karimi, was still drumming with them in early June, while
Sam's Facebook indicates that his first DLO3 gig was on June 24th in Fort Collins, CO. I was
impressed by both of them, but Sam's chops stood out just a little bit more to me.
