I have to be very honest and say that my knowledge of The Dictators is pretty limited - in fact, the first time I heard anything by them was by getting this boot!

It's taken from what appears to be a "real" live performance (so broadcast as it was happening, rather than rendered and broadcast later), broadcast on FM by the BBC here in the UK. The only details I got were "CBGB's 1977", but looking on db.eTree.org, the tracklistings there seem to indicate that the date is 25th August - if I've got this wrong, please post the correct date and I'll update here: but please don't come round and set fire to the house!

It's a blistering performance, but with plenty of humour. It's a very long way from being their only CBGB's performance in '77, so well worth finding out if there are others out there.

Art included - fairly basic, but it does the job!

Lineage: CD-R >> EAC to FLAC - all lineage before that, however, unknown.

EAC also used to confirm no MP3 history.
