So this was my daughters first show. She was just barely poddy trained.
We got her dressed up in her favorite best dress and headed into KC.
I tried to get her ready to be quiet during the show but she was three.
Missed the first 2 1/2 songs, as keeping a 3 year old happy and in her
seat was a challenge. I shushed her for the first 4 or 5 songs (more
than I should of) and she gradually came around. Taping companion in training.
She went on to treck cross country w/ me countless times. She has seen more
music festivals and concerts than I could begin to list here. The number of singer
songwriters and oustanding musicians (several of which are no longer with us)
she saw by the time she was 8 is staggering.. I included a picture of her from
close to this date. By the time Doc pulled out 'Special Angel' she was asleep
in my lap. Couldn't hold back a tear or two. Hope you enjoy this one.
