This is another I received in a trade years ago, but it only had tracks 1 - 7, no Candy Man.
Years later, through the generosity of KS (the girl who knows all there is to know about Donovan)
I received the full recording, including Candy Man.
I have uploaded all the first disc and slotted in Candy Man (from the second disc) where it belonged.
Reason being the first disc sounded a lot better than the second.
fine print department:
There is a noticeable drop in one channel on track 0, for about 30 seconds
There is slight wow and flutter, here and there.
HOWEVER, considering this was recorded just eight months after his first record release,
the fact there is little live from that time, and the set list, this is one helluva performance.
Any guesses who was an important influence on Don around this time?
A few clues:
1. Bert's Blues
2. House Of Jansch
3. Needle Of Death (written by Bert Jansch)
This is SO good.
