Donovan : The Lostbrook Tape Series - Volume 39

Attending a concert in another city was always exciting, but going
with two of my closest friends was a magical experience. Though we
had tickets for three upcoming performances at Madison Square Garden,
John, Jody, and I decided to drive to Philadelphia for two additional
nights of Yes and Donovan. We had mediocre seats, but Jody and I were
able to add some cash and trade up to the fifth row in right center.
Once we were seated, I delivered a stub to John so that he could
squeeze in with us. Donovan exceeded our expectations with a superb
electric show that kicked off an incredible week in our lives.
Opening night in Philadelphia will always remind me of teenage road
trips and life-long friendships.
