AUD master recording

**mp3 samples provided (as always) in the Comments section**

TheCommish notes: Nice-sounding (and rare) recording from the 1991 tour. Setlist features not only the classic Doobies tunes you'd expect, but in addition, HALF of the songs featured in this show are from 1989's "Cycles" album (4 tracks: Tracks 105, 106, 107 and 112) and 1991's "Brotherhood" album (7 tracks: Tracks 101, 102, 109, 110, 111, 201 and 205). Aside from "The Doctor" and maybe "Dangerous", the songs from these two albums rarely--if ever--appear on other live Doobies recordings. So grab them now...while you can!

Thanks again to george12k for sharing this with us.

george12k notes: There were some PA issues which start late on the first disc (as such, the numerous volume adjustments--listed below--attempt to compensate for these sound quality issues)

Lineage: Sony WM D3 recorder with ECM 909 mics > master > TDK standalone burner >
CDR > EAC > WAV > editing (see notes) > FLAC Frontend (SBE-aligned) > FLAC

Editing notes:
* Edited out some duplicate material on source (end of disc 1, beginning of disc 2)
* Re-tracked show (combined WAV files in Nero, then re-split with CD Wave)
* Using Nero's wave editor, applied small fade-ins to Tracks 101 and 201, and small fade-outs to Tracks 112 and 210.-in to Tracks 101 and 201
* Track 110: Partially fixed a small dropout at the 4:46 mark (right as the song was ending and the applause was starting)--deleted the half-second dropout and adjusted the volume of the music fadeout immediately before the 4:46 mark--it's still not perfect, but better than it was
* Track 111: Fixed a small dropout at the 3:07 mark; deleted the small gap and then copy/pasted a similar portion from the 3:00 mark in Track 111
* Track 201: Fixed a small dropout at the 1:11 mark; deleted the small gap and then copy/pasted a similar portion from the 1:03 mark in Track 201
* Track 207: Fixed a small dropout at the 4:56 mark (right as the song was ending and the applause was starting)--deleted the half-second dropout and adjusted the volume of the applause immediately after the 4:56 mark
* Track 208: Deleted small gap in crowd applause at 3:12 mark
* Using the "Declicker" function in Nero's editor, I removed clicks present in Track 201, Track 209 and Track 210 (there were many present in Track 210)

TheCommish also notes:
After all of the tweaking listed above, what's the end result? Well, I'll say the show's recording sounds a bit better than when I received it from george12k. Is it "perfect"? Of course not. But it's highly listenable, for sure. For the most part, I'd say I was able to address most of the volume fluctuations/inconsistencies in addition to fixing the small handful of dropouts on the source recording. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the end result. Hopefully you'll agree.

If you decide to download this show, won't you please consider posting a comment on the show's board? It only takes a moment, and believe me, it takes A LOT longer to prepare/upload a show for others to enjoy than it does to download and run.

And won't you please consider thanking george12k for sharing this fine master recording?
