The two Les Cousins shows are the ones distributed by Bit Torrent last year, care of Lagga - thanks for keeping them all those years and passing them on! I've included the supporting files that accompanied these in the directory '\Miscellaneous\Lagga's Original Info'. The audio has been cleaned up by Dave, one of our Gimbri audio doctors, and the songs from the 1970 set split in to seperate tracks. I've identified several of the songs that were incorrectly titled on the original, on the 1970 set 'Believe In God' and 'Unknown' are actually part of the same song, 'Red Rape', 'Time Takes All Away' is 'Piece Of Cod' (a new version was included on Tim Goulding's excellent solo album 'Midnight Fry' from 2000), 'Instrumental' is 'When Adam Delved' and 'Tennessee Waltz' is really the intro to 'Gave My Love An Apple' as per the 'Heavy Petting' album. The 1971 set also includes 'Piece Of Cod' (titled 'Highest Mountain' on the original Torrent) but many of the other tracks, those marked
(?), are unconfirmed, they may be Terry and Gay Woods songs, if anyone knows then please speak up! I think the 1971 instrumental is introduced as an O'Carollan tune but I can't make out the title.

Above (and below) Text by Shane, a fellow Gimbri. When our group put this together we added the following BBC tracks which we unfortunately cannot share tonight as the source was mp3. We have tried hard to get the originals but this is not possible at this time. If anyone else has a source please let me know.

Enjoy.....Jimmy

"The BBC tracks are sourced from 224kbit mp3s as we were unable to locate an audio copy. Of these, 'Ashling' and 'Mary Malone Of Moscow' come from the 6th June 1970 'Top Gear' session, the remainder coming from a November 1970 'In Concert' programme. According to Ken Garner's 'In Session Tonight' book, 'Jove Was At Home' was also broadcast during the 'Top Gear' session, and, from an article in the ISB magazine 'Be Glad', the 'In Concert' show also included another version of 'Ashling', but these are currently missing in action.
