Alright y'all, let's have a little FUN. Page and Plant had a pretty good thing goin' but they just couldn't master that Memphis / Jamaica connection. That's where Dread Zeppelin takes up the slack. How bout some Led Zeppelin tunes done up in a reggae style sung by a Vegas era Elvis impersonator. Unconventional, yep. Absolutely infectious and irresistable, double yep. If unique is what you aim for you'll like this one. It's part reggae show, part vegas spectacle, part rock gig, part comedic improv - and to beat it all, the whole thing works. Even Robert Plant was a public fan of these guys and singing their praises around the time of this show. I put in the most logical titles but there are lots of riffs here and snippets there that you'll recognize. These guys have morphed quite a bit and gone thru some musical phases since this classic show but they're still out there touring. Go see 'em. I'm sure it's still a glorious spectacle. Samples attached. Bet you can't listen to just one. Enjoy.
