Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk
Rhythm Room
Phoenix AZ
August 11, 2009
So, the big Dylan show was canceled, because of heat (!), so I got to go catch Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk at the Rhythm Room. Great night of funk, and the guys seemed to be having fun.
This was my best live recording to date - some crowd noise, but I think it sounds pretty good. I got there a bit late, so it fades in on the second or third song of the evening.
Not sure of all the titles, but if Dumpstaphunk fans could help out, I will correct it in these notes
SP-BMC-3 Binaural mikes with SP-SPSB battery module -> H2 Zoom 44Mhz
Audacity to split the tracks and perform the following edit - I had a little mike problem, which I tried to fix by pushing the (mainly) unflawed left tract over to the right track (making it mono) from 5:07 to 5:30 on track 7, but there is still a bit of noise at 5:20 - sorry, live and learn.
