Notes:
Whoever was running the board for Dumpstaphunk turned the bass down just a little bit, and I still
ended up with some clipping, but far less than I did for Karl Denson. I find it to be listenable,
but it is imperfect. It was still raining when these funky gentlemen started playing, but it was
more of a heavy mist compared to earlier in the day, so there's barely any rain noise. This was
billed as Celebration of The Meters featuring Leo, George, and Dumpstaphunk, but this is
really Dumpstaphunk on stage performing all The Meters tunes off their 1974 album "Rejuvination"
in celebration of its 50th anniversary, and joined by two of the original members of The Meters, Leo
Nocentelli and George Porter Jr, for 5 out of 8 tunes. The only tune from "Rejuvination" that wasn't
played is Loving You is on My Mind.
