They rubbed shoulders in one of trumpeter Erik Truffaz�s groups,
but both had more than one string to their respective bows.
Michel Benita has been in the vanguard of the jazz scene for more than 20 years,
playing with the greatest figures in jazz, both European and American.
Manu Codjia, revealed by Daniel Humair�s �Baby Boom� in particular,
is one of the most sought-after musicians on the French scene
(as a matter of fact, he will also be appearing at the Festival on 29 July
in Simon Goubert�s group). Together, they give free rein to their taste
for melodies stemming from jazz-flavoured folk.
