Lineage: Stealth recorded and minimally produced by mrsaureus, being shared for the first time. Sitting about 5 feet from the stage, just left of center using Core-Sound High End Binaurals (DPA-4060 capsules) to Sony PCM-M10 (48 kHZ, 24 bit), WavePad Sound Editor to chop and convert to 44.1 kHz, 16 bit FLAC. This is an audience recording that aims to document the experience of being in the crowd at the show, and features occasionally loud but appropriate crowd noise.

Iridium is an awesome little jewel wedged in beside the Winter Garden Theater (famous for a couple of decades of Cats, and then a couple more of Abba), right on Broadway in the heart of the theater district. It's probably best known for Les Paul's weekly gig, which he played into his 90's, and since then it has remained a great room for both jazz and rock shows on a very intimate scale.

Edgar presided over a blues rock explosion, with 20 minute versions of both Tobacco Road and Frankenstein, and lots of dual vocal/instrument soloing that was essentially a master class on blues phrasing. Listening to it repeatedly can teach you a lot. Rick Derringer's shoes are not easy to fill, but Doug Rappoport astonishes on lead guitar.
