Freak Valley Festival 2015
AWO Gelaende, Netphen-Deutz, Germany
June - 06 - 2015
Day # 3 - Act # 4 (14:40 -> 15:25)

---
It's a Spacebandit so you're in it
With a little help from Lord Die
---

Rec. Info:
OKM2R -> Zoom H2n (@ WAV 16/44) -> Memory card -> HD -> waiting... first 1:45 minute is from Zoom H2 looking out of the camera bag of Lord Die...sorry no crossfade...
Audacity (edit/remaster) -> TLH8 -> FLAC -> DIME -> YOUR EARS AND MIND...
Recorded by both the Bandit and the Lord from first row, the Lord left of center, the Bandit right of center...Sounds fine to my ears...a few pics from both of us are included as well...

---
Well before I'll dig deeper into this cool show, I'd like to apologize for my failure. Due to a misunderstanding between me and my taping bros MIRO and BLUESHACKS and the merciless heat
on that weekend, I was a little too late for the opening song. As soon as I'd realised that the dear Lord was already giving me an eye wink cross the audience, I knew he was right in time...
Somehow, it took months to get his recording and patched the missing part from his recording, which is naturally of lower quality than the OKMs. But his pics are far better than mine...
Well, of course I wouldn't have done that, if I wasn't very impressed about the music. A trio from Fargo (?), North Dakota (?), looking evil and mean! Hahaha, all that was very different.
Nice guys, open for any chatting, and "real bad asses", or what they call it over there in the outskirts of nowhere USA...But at the show, there were those images I could not prevent from
entering my mind...is this what ZZ-TOP might have done after "Deguello" and the "Rockpalast" show when their bags on the cover of "El Loco" wasn't filled with tumbleweed or seagrass?
Or if that "groovy little hippie band" just started in the 21st century? You might spin around your head as well as I did...But this sounds "rattig geil" and I hope the fun from that soaking
hot afternoon in the sun awakes again on this recording. Damn fine band...lighten up one tumbleweed for the heart of Tejas...SB.
